What this assumes
Slabs for FY 2026-27, unchanged from the year before, for someone under 60. Due only when the tax left after TDS is ₹10,000 or more. The interest figure assumes you pay nothing until you file on 31 July, at 1% a month. Gains that arrive late in the year can be paid in the instalments that follow them without interest, which this does not split out.
